Our Founder
Ahmed Al- Derzi has over 30 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Generics; Value Added Medicines (VAMs); Repurposed Medicines; and Orphan Medicines covering every therapeutic area and pharmaceutical form. Ahmed is a serial business developer and entrepreneur having started two commercialisation companies in Europe, namely: Consilient Health Ltd (where he led the Planning and BD efforts as a Co-Founder for the initial 7 years from formation and subsequently ran the business for 11 years as CEO) and Oranda Therapeutics Ltd (where he holds the position of Co-Founder and CEO). He has also been actively supporting Plexus Ventures LLC (since late 2022) on a multitude of M&A; Licensing Out; and Market Research assignments that he helped procure for the firm.
Ahmed is Chartered Chemist and sat on the Boards of Medicines for Europe and the British Generic Manufacturers Association from 2006 to 2022.
